Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking candidates for the RN Resident program (Augusta and Grovetown areas). The 12-month Nurse Residency Program supports new graduates with less than 6 months of professional RN experience, focusing on transition to practice and clinical skill development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient and family-centered care respecting cultural diversity and partner with patients and families.
• Collaborate with unit leaders, educators, and preceptors to support professional role transition.
