Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking candidates for a 12-month RN Residency program (NRP) in Georgia. This program supports new graduate RNs with less than 6 months of professional experience to transition into practice.

Residents participate in specialty/service line focused experiences and NRP sessions, supported by leaders, educators, and preceptors to strengthen nursing practice, clinical skills, and critical thinking while delivering evidence-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient and family-centered care aligned with age, gender, disease, and cultural needs.
• Collaborates with the patient, family, and care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
