Wellstar Health System in Georgia is inviting new graduate RNs for a 12-month Nurse Residency Program (NRP) at WMCG Health in Augusta or Columbia County Medical Center in Grovetown. Openings target Fall 2026 (Oct/Nov) and Winter/Spring 2027 (Feb–Apr) start dates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Instructor certification listed.
• RN licensure (Single State) or RN – Multi-state Compact.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; planning; implementation and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient and family-centered care that respects cultural diversity.
• Collaborates with teams to coordinate care and support service excellence.
• Upholds Wellstar Standards of Care and supports professional role transition.
