Wellstar Health System invites new graduate RNs to join the RN Residency program designed to support the transition to professional practice. The 12-month Nurse Residency Program provides orientation, unit-based leaders and educators, and structured experiences for first-year nurses in Augusta (WMCG Health) and Grovetown (Columbia County Medical Center).

Selected candidates benefit from system-wide onboarding sessions, specialty onboarding, and monthly NRP sessions, under supervision of nurse

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Less than six months of nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification; RN licensure (single-state or multi-state).

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized care.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care and collaborate with the care team.
