Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a dedicated RN for the Rapid Observation Unit to provide high-quality care overnight. You will work 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, collaborate with the ED team, and support patient transitions through the care continuum.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, assessments, care planning, education for patients and families, and documentation in the EMR. A BSN preferred; active RN license in good standing required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN).
• Current state RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and assess patient conditions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Administer treatments/medications and document accurately.
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation and quality improvement.
• Delegate tasks, pursue ongoing education and maintain licensure.
