Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking an RN to join the Emergency Department's 23-hour observation unit on nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). You will provide direct patient care, participate in a core residency curriculum, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support evaluation and treatment.

Ideal candidates are new graduates or RNs with less than one year of experience, hold an active RN license, and have BLS; ACLS and PALS certifications or willingness to obtain within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and RN licensure.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• TNCC or ENPS training or willingness to complete within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Participate in residency core curriculum based on learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and resources.
• Respond to signals indicating risk to patient health and act to correct or prevent risk.
• Seek supervision and assistance when needed and document in medical records.
