Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital is seeking an RN for the Rapid Observation Unit to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts. You will work in a collaborative team to monitor, document, and respond to patient needs, ensuring safe and effective care plans and timely discharge planning.

Requirements include ADN/BSN, active RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS preferred in critical care areas. This role offers relocation or loan repayment programs and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN) required.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• ACLS preferred if in a Critical Care area.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
