Job summary

Bon Secours in Richmond, VA is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care (Step down) unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. The role supports delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment during evenings and nights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred but not required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN applicant.
• BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment; create plan of care; implement and evaluate treatment.
• Administer medications safely per policy and procedure.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments; ensure safety and quality improvement.
