Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data; develops an individualized care plan and coordinates care.
• Directs care and manages use of any assistants providing direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to document outcomes and plans.
• Participates in governance, committee work and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and documents the care plan based on findings.
• Uses best available evidence to guide nursing practice decisions.
