Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current State of Illinois RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, and develops a plan of care.
• Directs care and utilizes any needed assistive personnel.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians, and staff; documents the plan of care.
• Participates in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates the care plan.
• Uses evidence to guide practice decisions.
