Job summary
Northwestern Medicine is seeking an inpatient Staff Nurse for 9a–7p shifts with every third weekend rotation. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for acutely ill patients while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. Qualified candidates hold a BSN and an active Illinois RN license, with BLS.

Qualifications
- BSN required and Illinois RN license active.
- BLS from American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes patient data; develops and implements an individualized care plan.
- Directs care and coordinates with team and assistants.
- Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Participates in governance, committee work and unit projects.
- Documents patient responses and adjusts plans based on evaluations.
- Utilizes evidence to guide nursing practice.
