Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Registered Nurse to support a 24-bed CV Stepdown and telemetry unit in Macon, GA. The role focuses on cardiothoracic/vascular surgical patients and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• BLS certification required; additional education/certifications may be needed per specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, collaborate with the care team, and promote safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area to meet patient needs.
• Deliver patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment and uphold ethical standards.
