Job summary

Atrium Health in Macon, GA is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the 8 Main medical-surgical unit with telemetry.

You will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, coordinate care with the team, and uphold a culture of safety while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Minimum requirements include graduation from a board-approved nursing program, BLS, and an active RN license; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

RN license or multi-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution with the team.
Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making.
May be required to float to other units or facilities within the service area.
