Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; state license with privileges.
• RN license with multi-state compact and/or privileges in state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Uphold a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Document accurately in EHR.
• Float to other units as needed.
• Provide care appropriate to age group and development.
