Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking an experienced RN for a 24-bed CV Stepdown and telemetry unit. The role focuses on caring for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical, pre-operative and post-operative progressive care patients, with a team including four new to critical care teammates enrolled in the Critical Care Academy.

You will perform comprehensive nursing care, coordinate patient plans, and ensure safety and high-quality patient experiences across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• ACLS certification required/expected within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
