Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 8 Main Medical/Surgical floor with telemetry, 36 hours per week. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, and an emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in safe and effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.
• Collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes and safety.
• Possibly float to other units to meet patient care needs.
