SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO invites new graduate nurses to join the Nurse Residency Program designed to strengthen clinical skills, support professional growth, and help you transition into practice within a structured, supportive environment.

As a pre-licensure graduate, you will work in the Stepdown department on night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday rotation, learning under RN preceptors and completing required trainings as you advance toward licensure and

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or equivalent licensing.
• For Illinois: official passing NCLEX results.

Responsibilities

• Under RN Preceptor: perform delegated tasks within demonstrated competence.
• Performs patient assessments across biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-specific needs.
• Develops and delivers patient/family education and coaching.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation and monitors care delivery.
• Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Participates in required training and competency assessments.
