Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – St. Louis, Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse (Graduate) for full-time night shifts (7p-7a) with every 3rd weekend and holiday requirements.

Under RN supervision, you provide age-appropriate nursing care to a diverse patient population and participate in the SSM Health New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with NCLEX eligibility is required; BLS HCP certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• NCLEX eligibility for Illinois within 3 months of graduation.
• No work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated tasks based on demonstrated competence in practical nursing.
• Contributes to patient assessments across biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual and cultural needs.
• Administers medications and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Educates patients and families about the treatment plan and self-care.
• Completes accurate, timely documentation.
• Maintains professional nursing standards and safety.
