Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson, TN is seeking a Nursing Unlicensed professional to provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision. You will document care, ensure patient safety, and communicate with RNs, charge nurses, and clinical managers to coordinate unit operations.

Responsibilities include secondary assessments in Med/Surg, Progressive Care, Post-Acute, and Skilled Nursing, with availability for call backs and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Unofficial transcript from an accredited school of nursing required to begin orientation.
• Completion of a nursing program (ASN/BSN or diploma) with authorization to test (ATT).
• BLS certification must be obtained within the orientation period and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care as assigned by charge nurse/preceptor.
• Document delivery of patient care and update plan of care in the medical record.
• Ensure patient safety and communicate with RN, Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager and others.
• Perform secondary assessment on patients in specified units and document findings.
• Work required overtime or callbacks as needed.
