Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated Stepdown Registered Nurse for the 7:00p-7:30am night shift in Youngstown, OH. New grads are encouraged to apply, with self scheduling and PTO benefits. The RN coordinates, delivers and adapts patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

BBB Ssn? This role requires current RN license in Ohio (or compact), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. BSN preferred; EPIC EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state or compact expected.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire (must obtain ACLS within 6 months).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 1 year RN experience required; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete patient assessment and develop a care plan.
• Administer medications safely per policy and state practice.
• Coordinate care across hospital departments and with family.
• Serve as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
• Collaborate with spiritual care, ethics, and palliative care as needed.
• Manage care for patients with complex conditions and multi-system issues.
