Job summary

VEG is seeking a veterinarian for the New ER Doctor (NERD) program. This six-month immersive path transforms practitioners into confident VEG ER doctors, blending academic and clinical teaching with individualized mentorship.

You will work side-by-side with experienced VEG doctors on real ER cases, gaining hands-on experience with 3-4 shifts per week plus weekly case discussions and state-of-the-art training facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid DVM/VMD or equivalent is required.
• Currently practicing veterinarian for 1+ years.
• Valid license to practice veterinary medicine; DEA registration by program start date.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 25 kg and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities
