VEG ER for Pets is launching the VEG New ER Doctor (NERD) program, a six-month immersive training designed to turn practicing veterinarians into confident VEG ER doctors, with mentorship, hands-on cases, and CE opportunities.

Participants work 3-4 hospital shifts per week, gain hospital-based experience, and may relocate for startup time; after successful completion, a path to full-time ER work at VEG is offered.

Qualificações

• A passion for helping people and their pets and a commitment to emergency medicine.
• Be a practicing veterinarian for 1+ years with a valid license and DEA in the start state.
• Ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 25 kg alone and up to 40 kg with assistance.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays in a rotating schedule.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, diverse environment and able to maintain professionalism.

Responsabilidades

• Work side-by-side with VEG doctors on real ER cases with mentorship.
• Gain up-close ER experience with 3–4 hospital shifts per week and weekly case reviews.
• Learn client-centered communication and care in a fast-paced open concept ER.
