Job summary

Otis Elevator Company seeks a New Equipment Field Operations Manager to lead the Southwest new equipment operations, driving performance, safety, and quality across installation projects in CA. You will provide direction, training, and leadership to field teams and coordinate with contractors and customers to meet schedule and budget.

The role requires 5+ years in elevator or similar industries, strong leadership, and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience leading field associates and strong leadership skills.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external customers.
• Comfortable in a technical environment using Microsoft software.
• Knowledge and enforcement of EH&S policies.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance to estimate in branch offices.
• Ensure adherence to SIP and safety policies.
• Lead and train the new equipment operations team.
• Provide technical direction to field staff and participate in large bids.
• Ensure quality of all new installations in the territory.
• Investigate and resolve critical customer issues with Otis and non‑Otis products.
• Monitor field tests, first inspections, and data reports.
• Travel 75–85% within California territory.
