Job summary

Home2 Suites Greenwood, SC is seeking a General Manager for a new construction opening in January 2027. You will oversee all hotel operations, lead staff, manage budgets, and ensure superior guest service and product quality while complying with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising six or more associates in a branded hotel.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; five years in the hotel industry is preferred.
• Experience in accounting and strong professionalism required.
• Must display honesty, punctuality, and reliable attendance.
• Knowledge of housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cohesive team through hiring, training, coaching, and development.
• Promote positive morale and friendly attitudes across the property.
• Complete administrative duties: schedules, payroll, inventories, orders, production controls.
• Work within budgeted guidelines and labor models to maximize revenues.
• Maintain safety and security practices and know emergency procedures.
• Ensure guests receive high quality product and service.
• Communicate and document via logs and internal channels.
• Implement brand SOPs and Associate Handbook policies.
• Keep Director of Operations informed of significant issues.
