What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Establish rapport with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve overall efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including oral presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership abilities and qualities demonstrated in past roles
