What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects, setting appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and enhance effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, or customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for relationship building with peers, customers, and superiors
