What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls and outreach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track sales progress
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and stay informed on industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers and customers

- Proven leadership qualities in sales and customer service environments
