What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through prospecting efforts
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects in hosting Book Fairs
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with CRM or web-based software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues

- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
