What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outreach efforts
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators, emphasizing the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage and track interactions and progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, and customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation and CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with customers and team members
