What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and interests in hosting Book Fairs, setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators, emphasizing the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to align strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or CRM systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers and customers
