What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outreach methods including calls, emails, and social media
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage and record sales activities in the CRM system, tracking progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and enhance effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Sales Automation and CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
