What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through prospecting efforts
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of educators and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation strategies and techniques

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, and customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with peers, superiors, and customers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities in previous roles
