What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and identify potential school and district partners to expand business opportunities
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators, promoting the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Manage and maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system, tracking progress toward sales goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers, superiors, and customers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
- Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
