Job summary

Storey Kenworthy is seeking a New Business Development Manager for Eastern Iowa based in Cedar Rapids. You will generate new revenue by identifying opportunities within workplace, education, and related markets, building strong client relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver tailored furniture solutions.

In this hands-on role, you’ll manage a robust sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and lead negotiations to meet revenue and growth targets while representing the company

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, or account management.
• Experience in contract furniture, commercial interiors, education, construction, architecture, or design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout Eastern Iowa.
• Develop and maintain a consistent prospecting plan and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Cultivate relationships with prospective clients and key decision makers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Design teams to develop proposals and pricing strategies.
• Participate in contract negotiations and close business aligned with company goals.
