Job summary

Baralan USA is seeking an experienced New Business Development professional for the Northeast region to grow new accounts and expand existing ones, driving sales targets and quotas. This role requires primary cosmetic packaging experience and a strong ability to develop profitable customer partnerships.

You will report to the Executive Vice President, coordinate with sales support, and leverage ERP systems (Navision) and MS Office to analyze market conditions and deliver compelling offers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 5+ years in primary cosmetic packaging and distribution sales.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales targets and creating new accounts.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Navision) or similar.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Must meet with customers daily/weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop account leads and new accounts.
  • Manage customers and sales support assigned to the portfolio.

  • Plan actions and priorities in the assigned area.
  • Analyze market strategies and stay informed on sales trends and offers.

  • Prepare annual sales forecasts for the region and report to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB FUNCTION - New Business Development (Northeast)

REPORTS TO - Executive Vice President

STATUS - Regular, Full-time, Exempt (not eligible for OT)

START DATE - ASAP

SUMMARY

The New Business Development is responsible for developing new accounts and increasing existing accounts in the Northeast region for Baralan USA ("Company), and supporting the achievement of sales targets and quotas.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop account leads and new accounts.
  • Directly manage the customers assigned and/or develop and supervise the activities of any sales support assigned to the customer portfolio, monitoring and complying with the pre-sales and after-sales activities.
  • Promote the Company's image and improve customer experience and satisfaction, and strengthen loyalty.
  • Plan action plans and missions in the assigned area, identifying priorities and objectives.
  • Analyze market strategies and prepare an in-depth knowledge of the current conditions of both the business and product context, constantly monitoring sales trends, current offers and customer positions, also including identified KPIs.
  • Directly manage the creation of offers with assigned and/or developed customers, complying with Company policies, including extra-price special offers and promotional activities.
  • Prepare annual sales forecast in the assigned region, both in terms of volume and turnover, including planning Company objectives with data control activities on a periodic basis, including periodic reporting to the Company's management, both direct in-line and dotted-line (functional) reporting structure.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or required by the Company from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in the primary cosmetic packing and distribution industry in sales activities.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and the creation of new accounts.
  • Experience in ERP systems, Navision, or other related systems.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office.
  • Required to meet with customers on a daily/weekly basis.
