Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking an engineer to design and lay out construction drawings for utility infrastructure across electric/gas/telecom facilities. You will perform field engineering, coordinate with customers and teams, and help ensure customer needs dates are met, including potential extended hours during storms.

The role emphasizes applying engineering standards, safety, and practicality in project execution across multiple business lines within Exelon’s six energy companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field; Tech-competent.
• TECH test completion; Engineering degree may exempt.
• Ability to analyse electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develops designs, layouts, drawings and material lists for complex utility projects.
• Performs field engineering and supports internal/external customers.
• Coordinate design activities with scheduling, engineering and construction.
• Maintain safety and compliance during energy delivery operations.
