Job summary

Banc of California in Los Angeles is seeking a Financial Services Officer to open and maintain customer accounts, perform accurate transactions, and support branch operations. The role emphasizes compliance, client service, and product knowledge within a busy retail and commercial banking environment.

You will contribute to audits, CIP/BSA documentation, and end-of-day processing while assisting with teller duties and supervising successful client interactions.

Qualifications

• 1 year in new accounts preferred.
• 2 years in Branch Banking Operations required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Treasury Management including wire procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
• Cross-sell Banc of California products and services based on customer needs.
• Assist with daily and monthly audits and certifications.
• Prepare documentation for new accounts under CIP/BSA and related policies.
• Input new accounts on IBS and complete the package.
• Support Teller and Branch Manager with various operational duties.
• Assist with end-of-day cash balancing and vault/ATM tasks.
• Help train and onboard new team members and participate in branch goals.
