Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Financial Services Officer to open new accounts and maintain client relationships with accuracy and professionalism. You will help internal and external customers by understanding and promoting bank services and products.

This role requires knowledge of basic treasury concepts and strong attention to regulatory details. Ideal candidates bring experience in retail or commercial banking operations, an ability to handle complex account requests, and a collaborative

Qualifications

• 1 year in new accounts preferred.
• 2 years in Branch Banking Operations is required.
• Basic understanding of Treasury Management including wire procedures and policies is required.
• Basic understanding of all key branch systems; basic end-user knowledge of Word and Excel is required.
• Ability to match products with client needs and to communicate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Handle all facets of new accounts including opening accounts, superseding accounts, maintenance, research, checks and notary services.
• Cross-sell Banc of California products based on customer needs.
• Support daily audits and certifications and prepare documentation for new accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of legal documentation for various entity types.
• Assist with end-of-day closing, cash balancing, and teller scanning tasks.
• Provide training and onboarding support for new team members.
