Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Financial Services Officer to open new accounts and handle maintenance with accuracy and professionalism. You will engage clients, explain bank services, and help with audits, CIP/BSA compliance, and daily branch operations.

The role emphasizes cross-selling products, knowledge of treasury management, and teamwork to meet branch goals while following bank policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year in new accounts preferred.
• 2 years in Branch Banking Operations is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic understanding of Treasury Management including wire procedures.
• Basic understanding of branch systems; Word and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Handle all facets of new accounts including opening, superseding, maintenance, checks and notary services.
• Cross-sell Banc of California products and services based on customer needs.
• Assist with daily/monthly audits and CIP/BSA documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of treasury management products and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Support end-of-day closing and cash balancing activities.
