Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Financial Services Officer in Manhattan Beach to open and maintain new accounts, assist with branch operations, and cross-sell bank services. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service to meet high standards.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in branch banking operations, a high school diploma, and familiarity with Treasury Management and basic banking systems like IBS, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 1 year in new accounts preferred.
• 2 years in Branch Banking Operations required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic understanding of Treasury Management including wire procedures and policies.
• Basic understanding of key branch systems; end-user knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Customer-focused and able to cross-sell bank products.

Responsibilities

• Handle all facets of new accounts including opening and maintenance.
• Cross-sell Banc of California products through knowledge of services.
• Assist with audits and documentation for new accounts under CIP/BSA policies.
• Maintain knowledge of legal documentation for various entity types.
• Process and balance end-of-day cash and vault/ATM duties.
• Input new accounts on IBS and manage complete packages.
• Provide assistance with Teller duties and branch operations support.
