Job summary

Banc of California, a premier relationship-based business bank, seeks a Customer Relationship Officer in Los Angeles to process transactions accurately and deliver exceptional customer service. You will support branch operations, mitigate risk, and refer financial products as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in branch operations, familiarity with Treasury Management policies, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of recent experience in branch operations.
• Knowledge of Treasury Management policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with standard branch systems and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide branch-level customer service and perform transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support Branch Operations Manager with Teller operations and risk mitigation.
• Approve customer transactions within set limits, including cash handling and deposits.
• Maintain knowledge of banking policies and ensure proper application.
• Support audit and certification outcomes through accurate documentation.
• Maintain branch security and ATM cash controls.
• Respond to back-office and cross-unit inquiries.
• Identify customer needs and refer appropriate financial products.
• Follow all established policies and procedures.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
