Job summary

OptumCare Nevada seeks a Nevada IPA Network Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for the IPA network and partner with physicians, practices, and market teams to improve quality, affordability, access, and patient experience across the Nevada market.

This role requires regular travel within the Southern Nevada market and collaboration with senior physician leaders, operations, risk and quality, and network management to drive measurable performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine required.
• Board certification current and active.
• At least five years of clinical practice after residency with outpatient experience.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine and managed care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical leader for the Nevada IPA network and drive strategy.
• Partner with network managers and operations to improve performance.
• Build strong relationships with contracted providers through field engagement.
• Coach clinicians and practices to support continuous improvement.
• Develop programs to improve quality, risk, and patient experience.
