Job summary

OptumCare Nevada is seeking a Nevada IPA Network Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for the IPA network and collaborate with physicians, practices, and market teams to enhance quality, affordability, access, and patient experience across the Nevada market.

This field-facing role requires travel within the Southern Nevada market, strategic program development for value-based care, and coaching of clinicians to drive measurable performance in line with Quadruple Aim.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active Nevada medical license
• Board certification in a primary care or hospital medicine field
• Minimum five years of clinical practice with outpatient focus
• Willingness to travel within the Southern Nevada market

Responsibilities

• Lead the IPA network's clinical strategy and performance.
• Collaborate with network managers and leaders to improve quality, risk, and patient experience.
• Engage with contracted providers through field visits and meetings.
• Develop programs to improve affordability and utilization management.
• Coach clinicians to translate performance data into improvements.
