Job summary

Northern Nevada HOPES is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership across our Reno site, advancing quality, access, and population health goals. You will partner with the Chief Medical Officer and operations leaders to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and regulatory compliance.

You’ll supervise medical staff, oversee CQI initiatives, and drive Center of Excellence priorities in Maternity SUD, Addiction Medicine, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics, while building a patient-first,

Qualifications

• MD/DO or APC with accredited training.
• Board certification required.
• Active Nevada medical license (MD/DO/PA/NP).
• DEA license with controlled substance authority required.
• BLS certification prior to hire and throughout employment.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care as outlined by the provider position description.
• Offer clinical guidance to staff ensuring evidence-based, team-based practice.
• Develop staffing schedules to meet patient medical care needs.
• Support CQI initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate credentialing and privileging for new medical staff.
• Monitor budget and resource utilization for medical programs.
• Lead site-level Centers of Excellence priorities in Maternity SUD, Addiction Medicine, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics.
• Build collaborative relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
