Job summary

Novant Health in North Carolina is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator – Critical Care to support ongoing development of CC nursing staff. This role leads education, mentorship, and staff progression in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

The Educator will coordinate new hire onboarding, develop learning resources, and promote evidence-based practice across units, collaborating with nurse leaders and educators system-wide to ensure consistent educational standards.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; MSN or graduate degree preferred.
• Current RN license.
• Critical Care nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and training to Critical Care nursing staff.
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Develop and update educational materials and learning resources.
• Mentor and support new graduate nurses and staff members.
• Round on the units to provide bedside education and clinical support.
• Assist with the implementation of new policies, procedures, and equipment.
• Support go-live initiatives and department education projects.
• Collaborate with nurse leaders and educators across the health system.
