Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of medical clerical experience; knowledge of medical terminology.

• Experience with computerized scheduling systems and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case times for elective, urgent, or emergent surgeries in a computerized scheduling system.
• Obtain authorizations, H&Ps, and lab results; order records for procedure day.
• Enter physician orders, schedule block time, and manage charges; produce reports.
