Responsibilities

• Triage medical information in a medical/surgical specialty.
• Schedule post-surgery diagnostic procedures and follow-up appointments.
• Coordinate patient appointments and liaise between patients, physicians, and outside agencies.
• Coordinate anesthesia and pre-admission tests.
• Enter appointment information in the online system and coordinate pre-anesthesia work-ups.
• Arrange direct transfers of patients from outside hospitals to UW Medicine with clinicians and admitting.
