Barrow Brain & Spine is seeking a Patient Navigator to build relationships with new patients and referring offices, coordinating care plans and education for neurosurgery patients. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care and support for new patient referrals.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and HIPAA compliance, with responsibilities spanning records processing, patient communications, and coordination across departments.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of administrative experience in a specialty practice or hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and at least one EMR system (e.g., Athena One).
• Insurance verification and pre-certification experience.

Mansioni

• Process all incoming faxes and verify required records.
• Handle new patient calls and provide information on patient processes.
• Process mail and upload records to EMR.
• Process online NP requests and respond via email or call as needed.
• Respond to emails and coordinate imaging requests.
• Respond to voicemails and manage patient communications.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to meet patient needs and maintain confidentiality.
