Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or enrolled in a CTE program.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant program required after Oct 12, 2026.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
• Ability to meet technical and physical standards.
• Strong data collection and accurate entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Rooming and preparing patients for appointments.
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs.
• Completing accurate patient assessments and clinical documentation.
• Performing cognitive exams as indicated.
• Collecting laboratory specimens and completing lab draws.
• Managing incoming and outgoing patient phone calls.
• Processing and coordinating prior authorizations.
• Supporting providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care and workflow operations.
