Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston seeks an Education Coordinator to support the administration of neurosurgery training programs, managing fellow recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate schedules, track educational activities, manage program systems, and serve as a primary resource for fellows, faculty, and staff while ensuring privacy and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship programs
• Experience coordinating trainee onboarding, credentialing, compliance, or medical staff administration
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in an academic healthcare environment
• Strong knowledge of Graduate Medical Education and accreditation requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations for neurosurgery training programs
• Manage fellow recruitment including interview scheduling and communications
• Oversee onboarding and credentialing including visas and hospital privileges
• Plan and execute program orientation, graduation, and other events
• Administer program systems (New Innovations, ACGME WebADS, ERAS, NRMP)
• Coordinate clinical schedules, rotations, and educational activities
• Manage HMS clerkship and internal rotators
• Serve as primary resource on policies, accreditation requirements, and processes
• Lead special projects and department initiatives
• Participate in interdepartmental meetings supporting quality improvement and efficiency
• Manage onboarding and serve as primary contact for Research Fellows and Extended Workers
• Oversee visa and immigration processes and record-keeping
• Coordinate with immigration attorneys and external agencies for sponsorship and green cards
• Perform other duties as assigned
